Use custom fonts and style presets

The workspace library

Fonts and presets live in the Library page of the app, outside any single project, so every project in the workspace can reuse them. The Library has two tabs: Fonts and Presets.

Upload and pin fonts

Your plan sets how many custom fonts the workspace can store. A font cannot be deleted while a project style, saved caption state, or saved preset still uses it — the app tells you when that happens.

1. Open the app and go to Library.
2. On the Fonts tab, upload a font file for your brand or channel.
3. Pin the fonts you use most so they appear first in the editor font picker.
4. Open a project and select the uploaded font in the global style controls.
5. Preview a few captions — the same font is used in preview, subtitle downloads, and burned exports.

Save and reuse style presets

Built-in presets are always available as starting points. Workspace presets capture your own global style so recurring channels and clients keep a consistent look.

1. Style a project the way you want it using the global style controls.
2. Open the presets menu in the editor and choose Save Current Style.
3. Name the preset and save it to the workspace.
4. In any other project, apply the preset from the same menu.
5. Manage saved presets from the Library Presets tab, including which ones appear on the editor shelf.

Mixed scripts and fallback

• If a caption mixes scripts the selected font does not cover, CutCaption falls back to a Noto font so no characters render as boxes.
• For translated projects, preview the translated state with your chosen font before exporting.
