What global style controls
Global style is the default visual treatment for the whole project. It is the right place to set the base font, size, color, outline, shadow, background, positioning, and broad caption behavior.
Apply a global style
- Open the project in the editor.
- Open the global style controls.
- Choose a built-in preset or adjust the style fields manually.
- Play a few representative captions in preview.
- Save or export only after the preview matches the intended look.
Best practices
- Start with global style before making local caption overrides.
- Use strong outline or background contrast for social clips.
- Check the style over both bright and dark parts of the video.
- Keep font size readable on mobile if the final video is for short-form platforms.
