Acceptable Use Policy
CutCaption is for lawful subtitle, translation, editing, and export workflows. This policy explains what users may not upload, process, export, or attempt through the service.

Use content you are allowed to process
You may use CutCaption only with content that you own, are licensed to use, or otherwise have permission to process. This includes video, audio, captions, translations, images, fonts, music, logos, and other assets.
Prohibited content
- Illegal content or content that promotes illegal activity.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation content, or attempts to create or process such material.
- Non-consensual intimate content, doxxing, threats, harassment, or content designed to facilitate violence or targeted abuse.
- Malware, phishing, credential theft, fraud, spam, or deceptive content.
- Content that violates export controls, sanctions, or other applicable legal restrictions.
Prohibited service abuse
- Bypassing upload, export, workspace, billing, rate, or security limits.
- Scraping, probing, load-testing, reverse engineering, or automated access that harms the service or other users.
- Interfering with workers, storage, checkout, authentication, or security controls.
- Using CutCaption to develop competing abuse, spam, scraping, or infringement workflows.
Enforcement
CutCaption may remove content, disable projects, suspend accounts, restrict workspaces, decline processing, or contact law enforcement when needed to protect users, third parties, the service, or legal obligations.
