Product scope
CutCaption is built for creators, agencies, and teams that upload or import video and subtitle files, generate or translate captions, edit subtitles in the browser, and export subtitle files or burned-in videos.
Paid subscription and extra-minute language applies when checkout is available for the account or workspace. The product should not claim a completed paid purchase flow unless the live Stripe configuration is enabled.
Policy scope
- CutCaption users keep ownership of their uploaded media, subtitle files, captions, translations, styles, and exports.
- CutCaption processes content only as needed to provide the product workflow, secure the service, support billing, and satisfy legal obligations.
- AI captions and translations should be reviewed before publication because automated output can be imperfect.
