Account and Data Deletion
CutCaption supports deleting projects from the product and deleting an authenticated account from app settings. This page explains the current user-facing paths and the data that may remain for security, billing, backup, or legal reasons.

Delete projects
Project deletion is available from the Studio project list. Deleting a project removes it from the active workspace experience and is intended to remove associated project media and generated artifacts from active product storage. Deleting a project never refunds processing minutes.
Backup, log, and security records may remain for a limited period where needed to operate, secure, debug, or legally protect the service.
Delete your account
Authenticated users can open app settings, go to the account/profile area, and choose Delete Account. The app asks the user to type the account email before deletion.
Account deletion clears the active session and is intended to delete the user account. Workspace, billing, audit, tax, fraud-prevention, security, legal, and backup records may be retained where needed or required.
Request help
If you cannot access your account or need help with a deletion request, contact [email protected] from the account email when possible.
AI training and deletion
Project content is not used to train public, provider-owned, or CutCaption internal general-purpose AI models. Deletion therefore does not serve as an opt-out from model training; it removes active product content subject to the limited retention described above.
