Refund and Cancellation Policy

When this policy applies

This policy applies to paid CutCaption subscriptions and extra-minute purchases when paid checkout is available to your account or workspace.

Public pricing, checkout, and in-app billing pages should show the current plan, price, renewal cadence, included minutes, extra-minute expiry, and any required taxes before purchase.

Subscription renewal

Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled. You authorize CutCaption and its payment processor to charge the payment method on file for recurring subscription fees and applicable taxes.

How to cancel

You can cancel through the in-app billing flow when subscription management is available for your account. If the billing portal is unavailable, contact support and include the account email and workspace affected.

Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless the product or applicable law says otherwise, cancellation does not remove access immediately and does not automatically refund the current billing period.

Refunds

Subscription fees and extra-minute purchases are generally non-refundable once charged, except where required by law or where CutCaption approves a refund for a clear billing error or service issue.

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact support promptly with the account email, workspace, charge date, and a short description of the issue.

Extra minutes

Extra minutes are one-time add-ons for active paid plans. They expire 12 months after purchase. Free welcome credits included with new accounts do not expire.

Extra minutes do not change plan features and are not cash balances, gift cards, or stored-value accounts.

Consumer rights

Some jurisdictions provide cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or disclosure rights that cannot be waived. If those laws apply, this policy is interpreted to preserve those rights.

CutCaption will honor non-waivable consumer rights and required auto-renewal, cancellation, refund, withdrawal, or pre-contract disclosures where they apply.
